Conveyancing

Our team of conveyancers have extensive experience in conveyancing and are well regarded as the first choice of solicitor for many people purchasing or selling their property.  They have a hands on approach and ensure that your matter is dealt with directly and efficiently.

Our conveyancing fees are as follows;

Sale of a house, unit or land - $638.00 including GST plus outlays (eg bank cheque fees of around $100).

Purchase of a house, unit or land - $847 including GST plus outlays (eg stamp duty (calculated on the contract price) and search fees of around $1,200, depending on the searches you elect to have completed).  We will discuss in detail with you all searches that are available and you are invited to discuss the need of any particular search.

We do not charge any extra costs for sundries such as phone calls, faxes, photocopying and postage - we include all sundries in our fees above.  We do not charge any additional fees on the search fees - you only pay the actual cost of the search fee that we are charged.  Our fee includes all negotiations regarding any issues which may arise in the building and pest inspections, any extension requests and additional negotiations, liaising with your bank and making settlement arrangements.

We do not charge any extra fees even if we need to arrange an extension for any reason, negotiate a discount because of an unfavourable building and pest report, to witness documents, for termination of a contract.

If you have any queries regarding stamp duty please do not hesitate to ask.  Please contact our office to ask any questions you might have.  We do not charge for perusing a contract on your behalf before execution.
